Extra Help Needed on Wednesdays
Friends of Bethany Outreach,
If you’ve ever wanted to help the Bethany Outreach Center and get “hands on” experience serving the community, now is your chance. For the next few months we need extra help each Wednesday. We are in-process of creating a team of 3-9 volunteers to handle the jobs described below. Then we will create a schedule for which team members will serve each week, based upon their availability.
The 3 weekly jobs for which we need volunteers are described below:
- Food Pickup, Delivery, and Food Distribution Setup (7:45-9:30 am)
- Clothes Closet and Food Pantry Setup (8:00-9:30 am)
- Clothes Closet and Food Pantry Takedown (10:30-11:30 am)
Notes: Each of these volunteers need to be able to handle steps and lifting while carrying items such as tables, boxes or bags of food, and bins of clothes. For Job #1 your vehicle must be able to hold 2-3 medium size bins, such as a SUV or car with a large trunk.

He will provide you with a detailed description of each of the jobs and if you wish to be on the team, he will take your information and put you in the schedule for the job and date(s) you wish. As dates are filled-in Eric will distribute the updated schedule to all team members via email.
