CROP Walk 2021
Join Our Bethany Outreach Team in the 2021 CROP Walk on September 26th
The CROP Walk supports projects to eliminate or reduce hunger all over the world, and also right here in Erie County. 25% of the funds raised here, stay here. Last year 23 local food pantries received money from the CROP Walk. for example, our Bethany Outreach Center received $750 from the 2020 CROP Walk.

Logistics for our 2021 Walk:
We will meet at Luther Memorial church parking lot (225 West 10th Street, Erie, PA) at 1:30 pm on September 26th. If you haven’t registered online, then you can register and make a donation in-person right then by seeing Diane Giannelli or one of the CROP walk helpers. Note: We will be walking as part of a larger group from other organizations and churches.
The CROP walk this year will be a 2-mile walk where we will be exploring Erie’s Underground Railroad History. When you arrive at the parking lot be sure to obtain a booklet and map for Erie’s Underground Railroad History at the Registration table. If you wish to only walk 1-mile don’t worry — let the helpers at the registration table know this, and they can arrange a ride for you back to Luther Memorial after the first mile.
If you have any questions about this, contact Eric Hedlund by sending an email to [email protected] or calling him at 814-722-7732 (and leave a message if he is not available).
Below is a picture from last year when we walked as part of a larger group and visited interesting murals in Erie’s west-side bay front neighborhood.
