Erie Gives is a one-day fundraiser hosted by the Erie Community Foundation.

August 11, 2015 marked our 5th Erie Gives Day, which was started in 2011 in honor of the Erie Community Foundation’s 75th Anniversary.  During this event that runs for 12 hours between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on August 11, the Erie Community Foundation will match a percentage of each donation that you make to your favorite nonprofit(s) when you donate through their website. www.eriegives.org

Every participating nonprofit received a donation and a percentage of the $220,000 pro-rated match pool provided by GE Transportation, Erie Insurance, Presque Isle Downs and Casino, Eriez Magnetics, The Erie Community Foundation and an Anonymous Donor.

Last year 5,465 donations were made in the amount of $2,271,693.  Bethany received $4,350.  The more donations made to Bethany Outreach, the more matching funds Bethany will receive.
