Bethany is the Hub Center for social service connections. We reach out to our neighborhood with open arms and are a family to those who are lonely, unloved and misunderstood. We do our best to empower our low income families through various enrichment classes so that they may find jobs and fulfillment.
The Bethany Outreach Center is a volunteer driven Christian organization, rooted in Erie’s east side, reaching out to ALL people who need a hand up and hope for life change. Our broad based ministries address the material, vocational and spiritual needs for people on the edge.
Bethany Outreach, in The Neighborhood Partnership Center at 254 East Tenth Street, reaches out to those who have no hope and are living on the edge in downtown Erie which is in the area of highest poverty.
327 families (148 unduplicated) visited the Food Pantry, 362 families (209 unduplicated) visited our Clothes Closet. 2,976 pounds of clothes were donated this month and 51 Volunteers worked 741 hours! What a great way to end 2016!
*Food Pantry – 637 families (218 unduplicated) were served. Clothes Closet – 439 families (210 unduplicated) were served. 122 unduplicated volunteers served 781.25 hours. 3,693 pounds of clothes were donated this month. God is Good!
July Stats: 601 visits were made to the food pantry (331 unduplicated) and 356 households visited the Clothes Closet. 2,975 pounds of clothes were donated this month. Our services were accomplished by 39 volunteers serving 772 hours.
